In May 2007, on the initiative of the FEB, Euronext Brussels and the other founding members, the Committee became a private foundation and was expanded to include certain stakeholders, such as the Institute of Registered Auditors and the Central Economic Council. The Committee's main objective is to ensure that the Code's provisions remain relevant to listed companies and are regularly updated in line with practice, legislation and international standards.
The 2009 Code is part of this process. You can find the new edition of the code as well as main changes on our website under 2009 Code.
