Belgian listed companies are much more compliant with the Code on Corporate Governance now than a year ago, according to a new study conducted by the Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA).

- Compliance by Belgian listed companies with the new disclosure requirements imposed by the Belgian Corporate Governance Code 2009 (December 2010) (Study n°38)
The CBFA has performed a study based on four themes, examining the annual reports of 2009 (-2010) of the Belgian listed companies. The companies should, according to the Belgian Corporate Governance Code, disclose certain information in their Corporate Governance Statements.

- Study on the compliance of the Belgian Corporate Governance Code
The VBO-FEB and GUBERNA performed a study regarding the compliance of formal aspects of the Belgian Corporate Governance Code by losted companies. The study shows that companies are more conscious about the importance of the implementation of the Code recommendations.
